THE PROJECT BRIEF

 

A complete haircare line needed more than one bottle shape.

The client needed a complete set for five haircare products, but the products did not share the same capacity, handling or dispensing requirements. The task was therefore not to force one container across the entire range. It was to assemble a suitable set from existing packaging formats and make the five packs feel intentionally developed together.


The client identity is not shown, but the project decisions are real: existing bottle structures were shortlisted, closures were matched, a shared color direction was developed and the artwork position was reviewed against the printable area of each pack.

 

01 / CLIENT NEED

 

Five products with different packaging requirements
The product lineup required several capacities and more than one dispensing method. A wider body offered a different grip and front panel from a tall cylindrical format, while the smaller pack needed to retain a distinct role within the same family.

 

The range also had to arrive as one considered set. That meant every choice needed to work at two levels: the individual pack had to suit its own use, and the complete lineup had to look deliberate when presented together.

02 / PACKAGING SELECTION

 

Matching each product with an existing packaging format
Existing HDPE bottle platforms were reviewed around capacity, body proportion, handling and closure options. The final set combined wider, taller and slimmer forms instead of creating a new mold simply to make every silhouette identical.

 

This allowed the project to preserve the functional character of each pack while concentrating development work on component fit, shared color, decoration and the relationship between all five formats.

03 / COORDINATION DECISIONS

 

Creating shared rules across different structures
The bottles use HDPE bodies with PP closure components, so color response could not be judged from one part alone. Bodies and closures were reviewed together, and the matte orange direction was checked across the different material and component surfaces.

 

Logo scale and printing position were then adjusted around each front panel. The baseline could remain visually related, but the printable width and height had to respond to the actual bottle rather than using one artwork size everywhere.

04 / FINAL RESULT

 

Five functional formats presented as one complete range
The final lineup retains visible differences in height, width, capacity and closure structure. Those differences make each format easier to identify and allow the packaging to support more than one product role.

 

A repeated matte finish, coordinated color, controlled graphic placement and related cap-to-body proportions provide the recognition needed for the five packs to read as one family.

 

PRODUCT & COMPONENT DETAILS

 

The range was reviewed as both a visual family and a set of individual specifications.

The detail sheets connect the finished appearance with the dimensions, neck specification, printable areas and dispensing components that support the final set.

Five formats are compared by capacity, height, diameter and neck size, then the available printing area is reviewed for each bottle body. HDPE bottle bodies, PP disc caps and a PP spray pump are reviewed as separate components before the complete range is approved.
