The structure of the pump also plays an important role in the design of the bottling. The pump is a left / right twist-lock pump, also commonly known as both a lotion pump and a twist-lock pump. The pump head of the bottle has a locking feature to support being clean at the top of the bottle until ready for use and allowing the bottle to have a retail-friendly presentation.

It can be used with any type of product with a medium texture for example, lotions, creams or fluid products like body lotion, hand lotion, body milk, shampoo and conditioner.
